Tap Care

Life’s circumstances can sometimes provide paths to unexpected places, sometimes painful and many times out of our comfort zone. Tap Care lets people know that they matter. We are a ministry of compassion and love, and a ministry of action. We provide help and resources that are biblically faithful and practical for addressing the issues in everyday life.

TAP CARE serves the following:

  • Prayers

  • Pastoral Care and Counselling. This may possibly lead to a referral to a counsellor or psychologist.

  • Practical Guidance and Support - Grief, Newborns, Hospital/Home Visitations, One-on-One

  • Love in Action (Meals and Care Packages)

  • Care Card Ministry - Notes of Encouragement for Individuals/Families

  • Benevolence Ministry - Financial Assistance

Tap Care Training

One of the hopes and goals of TAP CARE is to grow a community with a heart that cares.  It’s our desire to equip our congregation to care for those in our respective network of relationships – our friends, our family, our aging parents, our spouse, and our neighbour.  We do that through different workshops and training sessions. Serving Needs

Our congregation is expanding. TAP CARE continues to grow in order to serve our growing needs. If you have a passion to care for our church community, we invite you to join our team.

  • In Tap Care, practical and tangible helps mean meeting real, everyday needs during times of hardship or crisis. This can include putting together Care packages and meals, picking up groceries, offering transportation to appointments, helping with household tasks, or running other necessary errands.

  • In today’s society and culture of hurriedness, building meaningful connections is essential for fostering genuine relationships, a sense of belonging, and healing. We aim to be intentional about listening well without attempting to fix things immediately. We want to see you and hold your stories with care.

  • Please join Tap Care in praying for those who offer and receive care. May God grant strength, compassion, and wisdom to our caregivers, and comfort, hope, and healing to those in need. May our team serve with the heart of Christ and reflect Christ’s love for our community.
