Jameson Thomas
Youth Director
Jameson has the pleasure of serving Tap-Richmond as the youth pastor! Having been profoundly shaped by wise and engaging youth pastors and leaders as a young person, he hopes to create an intentional and safe space where middle- and high-schoolers may come and ask questions about what it means to follow Jesus through transformative relationships. He believes that engagement with scripture in the midst of meaningful, prayerful community is the key to spiritual growth, and as such his aim is to create community where youth encounter Christ and become like Him.
A graduate of UBC (Philosophy & English) and Regent College (Theological Studies), Jameson enjoys reading and learning—Ask him what he’s reading right now! His favourite authors include J. R. R. Tolkien, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Irenaeus, Rowan Williams, and James K. A. Smith.
You can find Jameson and his wife Tanya trying out new restaurants, coffee-shops, and breweries. You may also find him cheering on Liverpool FC, noodling on guitar, or kicking a ball around.
