Originally from Edmonton, where Lead Pastor, Albert Chu was his youth pastor, Jeff moved to Vancouver after graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Commerce. After 8 years with the federal public service in the area of finance and administration, he received a deep calling from God to go into full-time ministry. Jeff left his "cushy" government job convinced that great moves of God are preceded by simple acts of obedience. Knowing full well that God has yet to do his most amazing work in his life, it is a tremendous honour for Jeff to combine his work experience and education with his love for the local church.
Jeff is a worship leader at the Nights campus where his vision is seeing people lifting up the name of Jesus with such passion that others would sense His magnificence and power. In fact, the very catalyst for Jeff accepting Christ in the first place was someone else's worship. Jeff loves sharing his testimony, so make sure you ask him for the details when you get a chance!
Jeff was swept off his feet by Joanne shortly after moving to Vancouver and wasted no time in asking her to be his main squeeze. Together, they have a son named Josiah, daughter named Jordan, and a Pug named Stella. Want to get Jeff all fired up? One only needs to mention badminton, hot pot, or Lego!
