Rebecca (or better known as Becca!) serves as the Media and Communications Coordinator, overseeing all aspects of media and communications for all four campuses of the Tapestry Church. She spent her undergrad years at Simon Fraser University, and graduated with a BA in Communications.

With a passion for “all things aesthetic”, Rebecca first discovered her passion for media and design through photography in high school. With her trusty pocket sized point-and-shoot camera, she would bring it everywhere she goes and take photos of everything. Soon she found her passion for graphic design through her constant curiosity and awe for advertisement signs, billboards, magazines covers, etc.

Rebecca’s call to ministry was sparked after a year of internships in 2020 with non-profit organizations, especially her internship at Youth Unlimited, a Christian non-profit. She discovered how her work of photography, videography, and graphic design was capable of impacting people and communities, bringing people’s voices and experiences to light through visual storytelling.

After graduating university in Spring of 2021, she was blessed with the position of Media and Communications here at the Tap. Since then, her goal is to communicate and bring to light the testimonies of God’s good work in the Tapestry community through media and design.

Rebecca loves the outdoors, and enjoys spending time outside hiking, backpacking, camping, biking and going for long walks (preferably by the beach). She also enjoys going for drives and exploring new places with her partner Dan. When she’s not outside, she enjoys taking care of her (many) plant babies at home.
